Welcome to the Timeraiser Planning Site (Under Construction)

This is where all the time sensitive materials related to a Timeraiser will be housed. If it is relevant to a planning and hosting a successful Timeraiser, you can find it here.

Our goal is for local volunteers to plan a Timeraiser so it suits each city. By providing as many tools and templates, we hope that provide as much support as needed but stay out of the way as much as we can.

Step 1: Organize a great team

                            Picture
We want to live the values we are promoting: encouraging skilled & meaningful volunteer involvement. So where possible, we prepare internal opportunities. Read more...

Step 2: Build a solid plan

                            Picture
The Timeraiser has many moving parts. Don't be fooled thinking this is your average event. The workplans we've established will keep us on track. Read more...

                            Step 3: Mobilize Resources

                            Picture
Not only do we pay artists market value for their work, we also support as many social enterprises as we can. So our fundraising & budgeting reflect this. Read more...

                            Step 4: Secure a venue

                            Picture
The Timeraiser works best in a big room, where participants can intermix between engaging causes and spectacular artwork. Read more...

Step 5: Engage Charities & Artists

                            Picture
Depending on the size of the venue and the established budget, a Timeraiser can showcase between 20 to 50 agencies and artists. Read more...

                            Step 6: Prepare Promotional Materials

                            Picture
We have nice flyers, posters and other important promotional items. We could use some help producing them, and distributing in the right places. Read more...

Step 7: Promote Event & Sell Tickets

                            Picture
Ticket sales begin approximately 6 weeks before the event. We need a great awareness plan to make sure we hit our numbers. Selling tickets is a key goal. Read more...

                            Step 8: Volunteer Orientation

                            Picture
This is mandatory. If you want to volunteer the night of the event, then we have a brief, but informative orientation to ensure you know how the night works. Read more...

                            Step 9: Host Event

                            Picture
All the hard-work culminates the night of a Timeraiser. Be prepared to represent the front-line of volunteers who will help raise thousands of hours to important causes. Read more...
